kcjenkins
Wolters Kluwer, CCH Small Firm Services has enhanced its ATX software for the 2014 tax season with a streamlined user interface and “more robust” research content, including an ACA library. Among the enhancements for ATX: The user interface has been redesigned based on user feedback, to simplify data flow and increase productivity. The new release system continuously delivers product updates. A central contact center gives preparers access to up-to-date information. Content now includes a new integration with the Master Tax Guide Reference Book, interpretations and line-by-line explanations at the point of need. Lee B
What I found to be the most interesting thing was that this was announced as CCH ANNOUNCES THE EXPANSION OF ATX AND TAXWISE on multiple tax and accounting websites.
kcjenkins
Yes, clearly they are still keeping both going
Abby Normal
The new release system continuously delivers product updates. That makes me nervous. I like to wait awhile before applying updates. I let others be the guinea pigs.
joanmcq
Me too. Can we still shut off the auto update like we could last year?
Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana
Yes, I did.
Jack from Ohio
Turning off automatic form updates is counterproductive. Program updates always ask before installing. Leave the automatic function in place. This is my observed and experience driven recommendation.
mcb39
Yes, I did. I did as well. I prefer to download to desktop and install from there. Just works better for me with extremely slow internet.
