  1. A dog gave birth to puppies near the road and was cited for littering...

  2. Actually, I took home economics in junior high school because I couldn't get into the class I wanted (Algebra) and the teacher taught us to measure liquids that way. And the cup must be sitting on a level surface not held in your hand at eye level. So if it is a new recipe and I am not sure how forgiving it is, I still measure that way.

  4. I think the theobroma cacao is in small chip form, not melted. Else yes, they would be chocolate. A sieve size should probably have been specified - although personal taste varies. Some like large chunks, and some prefer mini-morsels or standard chips.

  6. But, but would this not result in the cookie itself being chocolate cookie, not a chocolate chip cookie? Either way, I wouldn't turn some down and would pair them with some bovine water-based butter fat liquid.

  7. In a previous life, I was a research assistant in genetic engineering in molecular biology. This 'recipe' is not so foreign sounding. To this day I have to measure liquids at the bottom of the meniscus at eye level.

  8. Did you try the IRS website? It is the best place to find the forms and instructions. I'd suggest that you print out the EZ form and its instructions from there. The 5500-EZ must be paper-filed, as long as e-filing its substitute isn't mandatory. The instructions to the EZ form describes those that are required to e-file using Form 5500-SF instead and must file directly online using the DOL's EFAST2 system.

  9. Yes. Great question. I'm looking at a CP2000 right now and under "Next Steps" it says, "If you are making other changes, we recommend you file an amended return (Form 1040X), write 'CP2000' on the top of and attach it behind your completed Response form." I have read a lot of discussions where tax pros were unbending on the never file a 1040X in response to a CP2000. I am convinced there are times that it is absolutely necessary, and if it causes more work for IRS that is absolutely not my concern. I'm not going to try explain changes and hope they figure the tax correctly. No way. Plus I either have to do a 1040X or redo the return to know what the tax is myself. Might as well show IRS and not be sitting around for months hoping for the best.

  10. Absolutely. In fact, she said the RETAIL price at Macy's and Nordstrom's is about $600. I told her print proof that it's the exact same purse and I'll adjust Line 21 so that you pay tax on what the thing is really "worth". She really is quite sharp. I was afraid to tell you I saw two unicorns in one day...
