  1. I think you need to contact your continuing education provider. You either didn't give them the correct number or they haven't uploaded to the IRS yet. Some upload daily, some weekly and some monthly. Or and it's actually possible - you didn't use an IRS approved provider for your license. If you do CPA courses it may not qualify for an EA.

  2. Make sure when saving and printing to/from PDF, to not shrink/stretch/skew. This mainly applies to any form you may eventually mail (for scanning), but it is a good idea at all times. I get this question daily; can I save paychecks or tax forms to PDF and have someone else print them? The answer is always no because of shrink/stretch/skew/resolution issues. I use paper copies of things I am required or want to keep. They are kept in folders/drawers/containers CLEARLY labeled with a "destroyable" date. I also track and delete electronic records via a "destroyable" date as well. Nuttin' you were not required to have can be used again' you.

  6. As I heard on msm tv today, IRS has determined that about 1 million people that were entitled to the third EIP did not claim or receive the payment of up to $1,400. The article below say IRS is making the payments automatically to the bank account it has on file or to the address of record if direct deposit information isn't available or if that method fails. Anyone who hasn't actually filed their 2021 return should do so by 4/15/25 to claim any portion of the EIP they may be due. https://www.cnn.com/2024/12/24/business/irs-tax-payments-recovery-rebate-credit/index.html

  8. Sara, surely you know the answer as it probably has happened to you: They didn't ask their tax preparer. It can work sometimes as you have demonstrated. By the way, hidden between my lines is a complaint that they never seem to adjust the child care credit for inflation. Sara, I always read your comments carefully, and believe you to be extremely astute.
