Terry, very well said. I will have the product updated as promised and we are working 24 hours a day getting this done. As you have stated you did a return and it was correct, so basically what is the problem is features for the most part, along with the corporate module that will be out soon. I do not want anyone to go to another software company and honestly I think if they do it will be a huge mistake for the simple fact that the software company they may jump to next year will experience the same issue as TRX, TaxEact, TaxWorks, ATX we just all decided to go ahead and do it now. The other software companies besides the ones I mentioned may tell you they are not going to have to do a update like we all have done but that is not true. So basically what I am saying is we will be ready as promised but if anyone does not believe I will its your decison to go elsewhere and pay $1500 & up for software just to go through this again next year and they will. It is also very frustrating for me to read things that people have on this board and I ask them to email me with specifics and they totally ignore me but keep talking trash, this makes me feel like all these people do is talk. You know this is true because when I asked you to email me you did and I got someone right on what you needed. Go to new return and type the SSN in and it will ask you if you want to caryforward or start a new return. Doug

This is an Adobe Issue, but I will also look to see if Adobe has a fix for this. Doug

How does this effect the States like CA. that require testing and certification? I think this ruling will take the wind out of the sails of both the IRS and the DOR's, maybe this will allow the IRS to move all the people that have been hired to regulate the tax preparers to things needed. The Nationwide IRS Tax Forums are in jeopardy of being discontinued due to budgeting, which I believe can also be blamed on regulatory. It had gotten so expensive for us to go to each of these we quit going, the last year we went it cost us over $100,000.000 between Expo fees, Airfare, Hotels, and lets not forget Union Labor that was required. I am very courious about the States on this ruling though. Doug

Form 3800 once released from the IRS. It is set up to do exactly what you are wanting, every form pulling from the info put on the K1 and all forms will stay in red until completed, thus as an error check system. Doug

Hey if you goto add a form in the return and type in schk it will bring this form up. See if this is what you are asking me. Doug

Yes it will be but keep in mind the IRS will probabally not accept it until Feb or March. It is not just them getting the form out they have to have their SYSTEM be able to accept it.

We will be updating all the states over the next few days so hang in there. I just wanted to get the States in place so everyone would know where to find them. We are actually still getting updates from several states, even the ones who said they were done, go figure. Doug

If you go to print preview you can print the info on the forms and the form will print out on PDF's Doug

We have a full blown organizer plannned for next year, but we put this one together quickly to get it out. Perhaps you can give me more detail as to what you would like and we can work on this together to make it the best organizer ever. We added statement buttons that add as many lines as you want giving you the opportunity to make it beefer this year. Doug

Yes, once in a return go to add a form and type in clientorganzier and it will pop up. And before you ask I am adding it to the reoprts menu too later this week. Doug
