  1. Ok, I have a woman who came to me in 2009. She is a 1120S, in 09 she had 52,000 in income. But in 2010, 2011 and now 2012 she had 0 income, but the business still has expenses she is paying. At what point can she no longer file and take a loss?
  2. I don't get that from people who are not customers. What I do get is being asked what I charge, I inturn ask them some questions about their sources of income..... I just finished a guy that said he had a "little bit of interest" RIGHT. He had interest from 6 sources. And they always after geting a prices say something like, oh I have some energy credits, or I have ..... Then there are the people that come in and ask a million questions about this that and the other thing and take up an hour of my time.
  3. I'm using it a took a couple of return to get used to it. As far a peek goes.. look at right bottom side of the screen, all the forms in the return are listed there, just click on the one you want to view. I like this better then peek becuse I can look at any form in the return from the current screen. As far as saving, yes I didn't like it at first but now I save without even thinking. 25 Assets... well that information most likely will not transfer from one program to another unless they are basically the same ATX/TRX/TAXWORKS. I had a Sch. E rental property with about 6 assets. I loaded my 2012 TRX to get the current year dep. amount and it was WRONG for some reason it didn't calculate the current year dep. for two of the assets. Glad I caught it and I'm glad I'm not using TRX any more.
  4. I might agree but it's not just ATX TRX it's also Taxworks
  5. I'm having the same problem, I have the DCN from the IRS but have not gotten an acceptance or rejected status yet. This return has Dep. and sch. E OOOOPS! The return had form 8582 which is delayed till March.
  6. My season used to start late, it could be that. Or it could be most of their tech support quite because of angry customers.
  7. I cannot believe the problems TRX is still having this late in the game. I just looked at update 39 I think corrects issue causing 1099R distributions for taxpayer/spouse to be doubled on Form 5329. Corrects standard deduction calculation for dependent taxpayers. How can anyone trust this program, who has the time to have to check calculations.
  8. Just heard from taxworks about my refund request, they have credited my cc. Thanks for the help Alex. TRX should follow their example. I would never recomend TRX but would tell people Taxworks took care of me.
  9. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now. No problems, I have efiled many returns. Sch. C's I have a 1020S coming in the end of the week
  10. I have an additional problem, I no longer have the CC, so their not so eager to help me, but I may try again
  11. "How about posting the refund policy that Karen Bills mentioned. Is it the same as the cancellation policy? Offering a credit for next year??? Are they serious?? What is the amount of the credit they are offering? Just like to know for my case." My understanding is it would be the amount I paid. Here is the policy she included in the email. I haven’t looked closely at it but it looks the same. I can forward the email to you if you would like. If they offer one a credit they should offer all a credit. 12. Yep, Only in America. It can make a hard working person want to through in the towel
  13. And because I purchased it at the end of last years tax season I can not dispute it with my CC company because it is over 90 days.
  14. Finally heard from TRX, NO REFUND I decided to email one more time since I never got a response from my certified letter. Here it is “Mary, I did receive you’re your letter on 02/06/13. We appreciate your business and hate to hear that you have decided to go with another company. I can’t authorize a refund per our return policy but I can give you a credit for next tax season. See Refund Policy below. Thanks, Karen” Like I want to go with them again!! Maybe I should take the credit just to cost them something even if it pennies.
  15. So I sent another email to TRX on top of the certified letter I sent and I just got an email back, "Mary, I did receive you’re your letter on 02/06/13. We appreciate your business and hate to hear that you have decided to go with another company. I can’t authorize a refund per our return policy but I can give you a credit for next tax season. See Refund Policy below. Thanks, Karen" This was followed by their cancellation policy
  16. I know I need to stay objective but It felt good to vent. Here is another guy, he’s 65, wife is 63 back in December 2009 he files for bankruptcy just him not the wife, she has NO income doesn’t work. So in December after he filed bankruptcy but before going to court, he leases a Lexus in her name of course for $500 per month and he was driving a 2008 Benz. He finally got his court date and screwed his creditors out $240,000. He wants to “renegotiate” his mortgage and he realized the best way to get the bank to do this is to stop making mortgage payments. He hasn’t made a payment in over two years.. Now this is the part that really makes me bite my tongue. He is always complaining about how difficult the bank is being; how he sends in documents they request and the bank says they never received them. He is almost indignant about the banks behavior. I so want to tell him “people like you are the problem with this country” or “what the heck do you expect the bank to do you’ve been living on their dime for two years” Oh I forgot to add the bankruptcy guy asked if I could do something with my fee to help him out.
  17. I just wanted TRX to know I'm not just rolling over and playing dead. A refund would be nice but I doubt that will happen. The thing that erks me the most is as some one said not even an "we're sorry folks"
  18. In NYC SS wiil get her a crdboard box. and it is his life, but also his wifes and two kids.
  19. No more questions, I used to substitute. The thing that bothers me is he has two kids, that he could have used the money to send to college, and I suspect his wife doesn’t know he drained is account. But like ya'll said you can't fix stupid.
  20. "At the rate he's going, he will be eligible for EIC in another year or two." good point
  21. Just got a letter from the TN AG in response to my complaint; they are looking into the mater. Has anyone else heard anything?
