I have a client who gave her daughter $19,305 of stock redemption in 2010. Does the excess of 13,500.00 have to be reported on Form 709 I have had no experience with this form.

On another posting a number of you posted about long term marriages. Today Helen and I are celebrating our 60th anniversary. The years for us have been blessed. I think it would be interesting to report what has been the secret of such union. How have they lasted thru time? The one secret for us has been to respect each other and not try to remake the other. We accepted each other for what we were. We still do. What is your secret for a happy and blessed union that has survived the test of time.

My wife and I are from the old school. We are celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary tomorrow May 21. The years have been blessed.

I dont remember nor do I have the time to research this question but I remember somewhere that they can filed amended returns with the new ss numbers.

Iam using TaxWise through TRX. This is the second year. Others are using their software which I think is TaxWorks. I understand that this is the last year they will offer TaxWise.

I have met life and am waiting until the value goes up again to cash it in.

I am using TRX TaxWise this year, but understand it will no longer be available thru TRX.

I have now installed the program on my new Hybrid computer with Vista Home premiun with no problems and now ready for the new season. At least for the software part.

I received my TRX TW software this afternoon.

Has anybody been given an indication of when the new Taxwise software will be shipped. I have heard nothing.

A number of years ago the IRS Tax Forums had a theme TAX SOFTWARE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR TAX KNOWLEDGE. i used that on my prinfed materials a long time. It has a powerful message.
