  1. I am betting a lot of those refunds went on those cards. Get rid of the cards and problem solved since the others require an address and not just a PO Box. Better yet, If it is a PO Box. Those get held up in review while they contact the taxpayer
  2. On the subject matter at hand. No one should have to be forced to sacrifice their liberty for the illusion of security. I have seen similar situations in life and I did step in. Later on in the years, I would ask the woman. Why she did not change the situation? The reply was "I didnt know what to do" Fear does things to a person's mental structure and usually it is mental but sometimes it is physical. The look you mentioned he gave her. Well thats the one thing she endures every day. Some people just do not fight back cause they cant. If you believe you should step into this situation Janitor Bob, You will be in a fight. Make no beliefs otherwise. It wont be easy but contact the sheriff's department. They have homes for women that will be a great source of help. They will get her to a better place in her life.
  3. There is a fix for this. Contact Customer Support
  4. I like to report Izzet. No one should ever mention "Vista" It creates turmoil and chaos in our lives
  5. Just curious but what are the ads for? I am getting a few from Bitdefender.
  6. You could install the Malwarebytes in safe mode after enabling the windows installer in services. That might work or alter your msconfig to do a basic startup and start the windowsinstaller service and then install malwarebytes.

    Tip of day

To win automatcally at Solitaire, Click Shift+Alt+2. Its not a cheat. Its a hidden feature to allow you to win.
  8. Is your ATX Service started? You can check this by doing the following. Click your windows key and hold it down and press the letter R. In the run box type services.msc. Look for the ATX 2013 service and restart it. Then try opening ATX 2013 with it running. Also if you have any sort of Firewall like norton. Try turning it off and seeing if that works.
  9. In the official forums, You can create different users for access to the forums. You would just have to choose manage users. There is a tutorial on it at support.atcinc.com
  10. Since we are talking about hard drive failure. Anyone ever use the program Spin Rite from grc.com? Its worth taking a look at and keeping around for when that problem comes up. I used it a few years back and its not fast but it will get the problem resolved. If it is not a mechanical problem.
  11. Florida Tax Man, I find all of this quiet interesting. I can understand why you are not allowed on the forums on ATX. Its cause where ever you end up. You cause nothing but strife and disharmony in a community. I believe that you do this for some purpose. I have no reason, want or need to figure out this purpose. It does not interest me. I have better things to do with my time. If you want to rant and rave. Go to Craigslist. They have a part of their community that is called Rants and Raves. its for people like yourself that continually have to complain or cause issues with others. You have called this place unfriendly in your posts on here. This is a good community of great people that help others solve problems. Be it tax, computer, or software problems. We gather together and create solutions or offer advice on these issues. I might not have a lot of posts, but I step in when I can. So Here are a few questions that I will ask you. What problem have you solved since your return on here? What issue did you settle? What solution did you provide? The answer is simple. You have solved zero problems since you came here. Instead you created issues that were not there beforehand. You provide no solutions and almost had one of the members of the community stop doing what he does best. Which is help people in solving the problems before them. So in closing, Either help out with the problems that people ask for assistance, but stop disrupting the ones who do help out and do care for the other people in this community of individuals.
  12. Yeah this reminds me of an argument. A person wanted to tell me that their 1099G Entitles them to EIC. My only question was "So how did he earn it?" That is still is awaiting on an answer 4 years later.
  13. Yes you are correct. If they become disabled and the code i think is 3. They are below the minimal retirement age. This will be counted as earned income.
  14. Yeah I agree that is the problem. I just think of the network that atx uses now is best described as Standalone with Telephone They are their own program, but they call someone else for their information. So they all have to be updated individually.
