The largest reason I will not jump ship is the conversion factor. No conversion from one tax software to the other is 100%. That means scrutinizing every part of every return (especially loss carryforwards, deprectiation etc.) to be sure all information was properly converted. Consider hundreds or thousands of clients, and you see my hesitation.2 points

I don't write them either. I just cite them IRS Code Section 7216 revised Jan 1, 2009 that says I must have a consent form in writting before I prepare the taxes. If they have a qualifying child the age rule is not a factor. Eli1 point

what you can do is use a list. They still have that feature. Put 5 on line 1 and 15 on line 2 and at the bottom it will show 20. Tom Hollister, CA1 point
