Was just on with Tech support. A new update is due to be released on the 21st. We are still having severe resource problems, even though my computers are well equipped. Time will tell if the next update could be the one.

I am having a completely horrible time with atx. It has been a nightmare..opening returns, Fixed assets, closing returns, efiling, etc. Everything takes me twice as long, missing assets etc. I have an open mind that ATX may see it through and fix it. But I am willing to try anything at this point. I have been hanging in there. We will see. I will let you all know what I think. I like the forms based programs, so I am weary

Right..they have given me one license, so I am to use it as much as I want.

I am experiencing more problems with efile over the past week. I have to reboot to get them too. Have grown super weary with just the efile process

Proseries has sent me the program with one license to try for the remainder of the season, I was so surprised, because everyone had been reaching out and attempting to get my business. I will take a look, but unsure of what I am doing at this point. Not renewing in 2013 that is for sure

It would further irritate me that we would line attorney's pockets, while we are the ones suffering. I am working twice as hard to get less accomplished. I had to file so many Corporate Extensions, that I do not see my way clear into late May. It should not be this way, when we are working so hard and the barriers are unacceptable.

This has been my issue for 2 days now..on with tech as we speak...this software just keeps melting down. I was able to reboot my server for a bit and it took care of it. creating efiles causes crash then I can not access the program..other computers in the office are taking forever to open returns and closing them. I am trying to file corp ext...what a nightmare. I just want to wake up and have it all been a dream...

I actually did a return in 10 Minutes...with a sch A...this is a dramatic improvement, but it took over 4 hrs on Tech support today. I was on with Tech last night and the guy left me hanging when he told me at 9:45 that there was nothing else he could do for me after being on line with him for over 4 hrs. He could not log off fast enough the xo*&^% Anyway, I could not even open a return when he finished with me. Had to call my husband, who through log me in, was able to recover what the idiot did to make me completely inoperable thanks to a great in house Tech support. We had two people working with us today and we are much better. hoping it does not fade away as it has before. Heres to hoping

Nothing much changed for me. Returns open a bit faster, still unresponsive in many areas.

I have efiled 412 returns so far. I have another 60 in my office waiting for this or that, and the new update Monday hoping to recover lost assets..some are too many assets to reenter again with the stability problem I am experiencing. It will be easier to delete the return, roll it over again to save the stress and aggravation of re entering the assets. I still have all my corporations and partnerships to do, but am waiting until after Monday. I have blocked off my schedule for the week to accommodate for getting them out. My revenues are down, confidence is down. Yesterday I entered a K1 from one of the corps I filed and the Shareholder withdrawal from an scorp went into Tax Exempt interest. WOAH.. So ready for a change, just have not found that one program that wows me the way ATX always has. Very disappointed in Maine

That is a true representation of my face when I have experienced the prior updates...plus my two hands pulling my hair out..will not need a haircut for years to come. Have already been exploring options for 2013 Anything will be better than this

Not sure, but I am sick and tired of losing assets and redoing work..I am so far behind and they do not care...all I ever hear is..we apologize for that..we are sorry, we understand how you feel..it is quicker to delete the return and roll it over than to reenter assets...asset entry is so unstable..Sick of it all.

We installed 4.5 still having issues..installed more memory in our server..no help..I am beginning to think, nothing will help

It really grabs me that I loose assets after completing the return. I have lost assets on many returns..and I have to rebuild..I have discovered in most cases, it is easier to print the return and entrer my income and loss, after I delete the return and rollover again, because the Asset entry form works so slow..of course this is when I have a large amount of assets..GRRRRRR

I am still running slow on fixed assets..I have also crashed a couple of times It has periods of times when it runs faster and then it starts to buzz out on me. I do run multiple tasks so that may cause me some problems..but never has in the past. I have powerhouse computers..and run on a network. We will see. Creating efiles is a bit faster. Still have issues with 1099g Ghost appearances. Oh well maybe tomorrow will be better...seems to work better in the 1120 and 1065 and creates very fast. Heres to hoping

I have filed several successful offers in Compromise cases. One can not be filed until the tax is assessed. Then all filings must be current. It can be helpful under the right circumstances, not sure that her scenario will fit the Explanation of Circumstances, which work really well with serious illness, casualty or disaster circumstances...loss of job may be an option, however, I would leave out the princess part..lol. If the tp does not have income, they will deem her uncollectible, but the debt will continue to accrue. So you may want to look at an offer down the road. The next 5 yrs must be current and if circumstances change, the issue may come up again, but I have not encountered that. Hope this helps

Well We finally got through to tech support...we are completely down...crash ...can not even open atx 2012...grrrrrrr...I have had it..I fully understand the feeling of Nausa ...I want to vomit..and I am so dog tired...and it is all from fighting with a program that will not work...so ready to be done with it.

I have been so patient with this years problems..I have a high volume office with over 1200 tax returns to prepare, and today I am fully down..I can not even open my program, it crashes every time..I can not do one return. This is the worst day yet..I am so far behind. My program has been steadily getting worse each day. On hold with Tech support now. Have to make some hard decisions and soon, if I want to remain in this business. Clients are counting on my firm. I have used ATX since 1994 and have never experienced anything like this. Just needed to get that all off my chest. Now on the the tough choices. Thanks for all your insight, it is comforting to stop by and read other comments from peers and know that I am not alone out here.
