thanks you all!! some great scenes! so I emailed the wife of the one and said sorry to involve you but you'll end up involved with the penalty... she got let go.. - funny she didn't ask me for a job as I offered one to her last spring! but sold their house in Iowa and will pay both with their personal; taxes! I did watch these and more - refresh myself - I say I am going to ask for payment for everyone up front this year!! but we decided that would be more of a nightmare.. hard to believe people with refunds do not pick up their taxes! and gotta love those high % credit cards.. is it legal to give cash discounts? D

but why just the 2 hurricanes - why not for other tragedies or cancer victims... great idea - too narrow -
so I did the return - knew they going out of business, have one of the partners personals.. whines as he has no money - soc sec $19,000, her W-2 - $30,000 can't pay partnership return due 9/15 of just $250, partner says he has no money Tell me I am not filing this I have warned them - penalty is greater than what they owe me... He says have Darlene call me- so he can talk me into filing with out paying - he already owes me a retainer of just $200 for IRS trouble, says penalties don't bother him.. tell me not to file without paying! I am so bad at that ! I trust people.. and they stiff me

another dozen reasons to do a consumer tax - you spend, pay we can retire or wait - help people do a better job at thier bookkeeping and make their businesses better and make more money! and for credits - if your child actually goes to school - or competency testing for home schooling - not hanging out at the library or touring the local pool hall, give the parents the $$ directly maybe more would then get a real job - if able And make them take parenting classes - get rid of the lobbyists, the irs, no cheating if no taxes to cheat on! and no irs!! get a real job and don't make up the rules when they are in black and white!
-
had to look it up earlier- do not need to efile - but guess what, we did! and how do you pay if not using the 4868? and the address to pay - which one to use - is nothing simple? needed a little vent Thx D
-
but you don't file til paid so you can get paid - right.?
-
well that is not my case here - that gives me hope - - I have one in appeals and they took her state as well maybe I missed a step or it is further than I thought - Tax advocate has it also... I will go quick file another one!
-
actually asking if the refund will get held up, or filed before finalized only the first persons opinion it is a hobby! talking to her and then on to appeals - he satisfies 8/9 points on business vs hobby
-
wow - what a question - but I would say it is not subject..
-
A - so client got audited - owes me $$$ - thru feecollect can get my $$ and his for 2016- but audit came thru totally rejected - more on that... have 15 days to respond - so if I file - can he get this thru and his $$ in time before the return gets attached? B - Audit - raced, got hurt, now son races - since 4 years, now 16 so became a business as winning - top 5 in country, has sponsors, earning $$'s, repairs engines, does other paint work, etc, sells oils and etc.. 2 years = neg, 3rd year , neg but more income, denied as he is having fun with son, not a business. Showed all 9 points why he qualified as business not hobby this is 4th year and $15,000 in this neck of the woods is not a hobby!! next year he should show a profit (will regardless! ) but has shown why and growth to substantiate... C - received an online seminar on just this topic - is it worth the $$ - last one I "attended" was not! I could have done a better job... Thank you all and Hallelujah! Hoppy Easter. flood me with your wonderful advice - after the 18th is fine.
-
so for next year - I will just use this years and ask did anything change... if the IRS isn't abolished by then WI revenue lady called yesterday - 2 days now and has to talk to me - really... how long can I make her wait - she couldn't wait til next week?
-
I just want a partner to help and be done by 6 pm like normal people! abolish taxes and the IRS
-
and I hoped she listened as 2013 amend came in all perky and said Ill gladly do an extension you got me so much $$ back - take that, next guy - said I've learned not to worry and call - you'll take care of me as he also bought $300 worth of lean delicious lamb and some ewemazing sheep cheese
-
shouldn't even be here but had a question - now I have to figure out what Feb will get extensions.. really mad lady today said you had it 5 weeks and simple - I never called - why didn't she - I would have moved her up if squeaky,, and she was not simple - had such a prune face - told staff and children - do not ever do PRUNE face - uuuggllyy
-
so I love the SHE, as I call it.. but can it be used on the shell itself of rental buildings, the initial purchase price - or just on the improvements? thx - I have a do it your-selfer telling me I have to give stepped up basis from grandparents passing and quick claim deed and now 505 owner, etc, and writing off more depreciation,,, I love it when i am trying to fix the rental income that he did as stumpage - long term capital gains and he is still trying to tell me how to do taxes said your mixing sale and taxes... but please answer my initial question if you would pretty please thank you
-

-
