We all will just wait and see. However it is handled we know who will have to deal with it and explain to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Taxpayer all the bad points that go along with the rebate. I usualy write the amount on my copy in pencil. I guess I don't need to do that anymore....but what the heck old dog......new trick......

I emailed atx and it took them about a week to get back to me saying they were in the mail. Have not got mine yet.

That's what I thought, but you know who does not want to hear this. The taxpayer. I told them that all the expenses were going to have to be add to the cost basis. This seem to upset them so I told them that I would do some investigation to make sure I was right. Thanks I will look up the regs. and read up on them also. Does anyone know of any specific Pub. that might address this directly?

I think I'm thinking right....Taxpayer has purchased land with a loan from bank. They are improving the property for resale. They are making a subdivision out of the land. They have paid to run utilities, making a road with culverts etc. The amounts for the land improvement will go to the cost of the property. What about the interest on the loan? Is it investment interest? They also have 2 of the lots sold in 07. Also have as expense land taxes and fees for LLC. It is a partnership LLC.

I just looked at my envelopes that I order from Nelco and they all have that on them. The single, double window letter size and the w-2 mailing envelopes, but I did not know that either. Yesterday I got some junk mail that had that on it, too. HA HA I use a computer checks envelope to mail 1040-es in. They line up just fine with the mailing label the program prints out. Do you think it should say that on the outside? I use these for the new guys making estimates and the people that say they never got them in the mail.

Never you guys mind, I found someone else with the same problem. If only I had done a search on this glorious web site. I can't do with out yall. :rolleyes:

I have a client that owes and does not want to e-file. I do not mail very many returns but I do a few. I have the envelope from Nelco that they say is compatible with ATX program. The return address does not show through the double window envelope. I have almost a new box of these and would like to know what I can do to make them print to match. Or is it some US Postal thing, know?

Read something on the ss page or email about a problem and that they had to remail a genormus (big)amount ot them. Told a client yesterday that and told them to wait.

Well this is what I would like to think right now......Their tech support needs to be redefined. With support people from both programs are trying to help us CCH should have worked this out much earlier than they did...Maybe things will get better...We all have problems when we first start up...some years more than others....I guess on the days things went pretty good I can think like that....What does tomorrow hold in problems? May we have the strength and wisdom to accept the things that we can not change and know the difference when we can change them or how ever that saying goes.

Noticed on the my atx page that there is a telephone problem. Thank goodness I've not needed them in the last couple of days but who's to say I won't. Anyway the email back is as bad. I had an email sent to them on Friday before lunch and did not receive an answer until the following Tues. They say they will get back to you in a generic email within 24 hours. That was a joke. I am like you NECPA I've been with them prior to 00' I am going to give them a chance as of know. I'll decide by the renew date if they do something MORE stupid than shutting down live chat and atx board on April 10th.

Does anyone know when they are going to ship out the cch 1040 express answers? I have been on hold with the sales service desk for over 15 min. Note this is the sales tax not tech support.

Same here always wait to make sure all numbers are okay. jkl that sure is a pretty picture. I have tried to post my long hair che-che's picture but they are to many pix. I saw earlier that I could maybe use them as avitars. I am going to try that when I get home. My che-che is red with black and blonde. It's a cutie.
