Wow! Great story Rich!

Oh man I crashed last night and still was in the office until 10. Two nights in a row, I've had to brake hard for deer on the last mile of my commute home. I can usually see their eyes reflecting my headlights while I'm still a good distance away, but that did not happen on either night. They were younger deer and maybe their eyes aren't as reflective? TWO WEEKS!!

The interface has a real XP feel to it, and it could be more user friendly, but it works and it's reasonably priced. No client has had any problems navigating yet. It's like a temporary portal that we email things to and clients can reply and email attachments back to us. Nothing left in the cloud for eternity. No password protected PDFs. I'll use it to email organizers next year. It will save us a lot of time. I was only supposed to have a 30 day trial but I'm well beyond that now. Just emailed them and told them I want to buy. Never do returns in pen!

I've never had 1099Ks that add up to more than sales per the businesses books, due to sales that aren't on a 1099K, but if that ever happened, I would report the 1099K total and back out the difference somewhere. You should be our test case to see if the IRS is even matching 1099Ks. My guess is that they are not.

The "solution" is to print page the missing pages and merge them into the return. The real solution would be for ATX to remove all the code that says not to print certain pages. I submitted an enhancement if you want to comment your support and/or experience with pages not printing. https://community.atxinc.com/forums/thread/261770.aspx

At 30 pages a minutes that's 1,350 pages. I'd just give them a PDF.

Printed an 1120S and had 3 statements for 4562 selected to print (Section 179, Use of Vehicles and 4562 Statement) and only the Use of Vehicles page printed. Does anyone here think ATX should be deciding which pages I can and can't print? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Contemporaneous Acknowledgement for Contributions

Yes. I don't verify my clients' list of donations to their receipts. They don't even always give me their receipts. But they do sign my engagement letter. -

Your client was audited because the numbers on the return triggered some program to kick it out for review. That does not mean that the IRS looked at the PDF that was attached to the return. -
In an upcoming release this will become a permanent change. The IRS is requiring proof of the basis calculation going forward. They want to see a PDF attached of the basis calculation for all S Corp interests. https://community.atxinc.com/forums/permalink/261706/261703/ShowThread.aspx#261703 Me: About. Damn. Time. Over the years I've gotten many S corp returns where the prior preparers were deducting losses in excess of basis, and not showing distributions in excess of basis as capital gains. Also, will be nice to have finally basis calcs for K1s from other preparers and for new S corp clients, although I won't really trust the calcs.

Scan the appraisal to a PDF. Choose E-file MENU and Attach PDF. Scroll to the form 8283 click on an appropriate paper clip. In your case there isn't one so I'd go with Donee Org Ack.\ Ignore warning from ATX that your PDF is too big, and just remember this as the one time you've ever heard that in your life. -
Yes. No.

I've just scanned and attached before. Either way, IRS isn't looking at it. -
Possibly. Some antivirus software likes to make decisions for you to keep you safer.

Windows settings are notorious for changing by themselves, although it used to be much worse. Which windows version are you on?

That explains why my parking lot is mostly empty.
