ILLMAS
Has anyone concluded that all the problems we are having are due to the new design? Payroll compliance looks the same as ATX 2011 and before, but this isn't uncommon, think of windows 98, vista and now windows 8.
Guest Taxed
Some real smart guy decided this must be the opportunity to do a complete makeover so close to tax filing season!
schirallicpa
I don't like the new design, but thinking that they are moving toward touch screen capability.
Lloyd Hudson
Touch Screen? desktop? I tried it and found that my fingers are not agile enough or arms long enough. Really dislike tiles etc.
SCL
mental telepathy to the monitor screen is in deep black ops research. it is one of steve jobs last secret apps that apple is working on. You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop, the Twilight Zone!
BulldogTom
I don't like that they killed the bunny and replaced it with a Fidelity Arrow. I don't like that they killed the rollover puppy either. Those guys at CCH need to be turned into PETA for their cruelty to animals Tom Hollister, CA
Don in Upstate NY
I bet you the tiger (or what ever it was back when I first got the program) ate the poor little things. Course, he's been unemployed for some years now, and must be gettin' hungry ...

Guest Taxed
Just saw another post that Taxworks is giving refunds if you complain about the 2012 software. Wonder if ATX and others will do the same???

kcjenkins
The bunny and the dog were a friendly sigh that the programmers had a sense of humor. So it's sad that they removed them.
Eric
There was also an easter egg in one of the older programs, but I can't remember how to access it. It had to do with holding shift or control and clicking something specific in the About dialog box. If I were to guess the year, I'd guess around 2002, give or take a couple years. It'd bring up a black window with stars flying by, and the names of the employees displayed in rainbow colored Comic Sans font. It was quite cheesy. I think it showed that one of the developers had way too much time on his hands.
