JackieCPA
Is anyone else having problems with ATX this year encountering an error and needing to close multiple times a day?
TAXMAN
Esp if you have more than 1 year at a time opened or printed a fat return.
FDNY
Yes, but if you close out the message you can keep working. Abby gets the credit for that workaround. I do shut down the program every few returns, another Abby recommendation
Lee B
After all these years they must still be using the "Raven" shareware database. By now one would think the program would have been rewritten with something more robust and stable?
mcb39
No problems here except at the very beginning. Since we have been restarting every day, we have had none of that.

grandmabee
Where is the ATX folder? How do I get there?
Abby Normal
16 hours ago, grandmabee said: Where is the ATX folder? How do I get there? Program is in Program Files(x86)\Wolters Kluwer. Data is in ProgramData\Wolters Kluwer You can see the program location by right clicking the ATX icon on your desktop and choosing properties. You can see the data location by running ATX's Admin Console, which should be in your Windows menu, but I always put a shortcut to it on my desktop for easy access, as well as the Sfs.Cache folder. The cache folder contains temporary files that should be deleted if you're having trouble with ATX. I wish they'd delete every time you close ATX.
Akiva
I keep having the same problem
grandmabee
I am on a Windows 11 pro machine this year and when that happens my program doesn't let me x out of it now. It pops up then completely closes down by itself. I used to x out and then save my return then close down. Not this year.
JackieCPA
I had to call ATX and they gave me a file call "Large address aware" to put on the computer and they walk you through making sure it is working properly - haven't had an error since.
