Seems like I have outlasted my welcome. Not my sandbox, I get the hints. I appreciate all of the banter over the years, best wishes to all going forward. Those that have interacted with me in the past know how to reach me, if anyone wants to discuss payroll or accounting. I don't do any returns other than my own now, but I deal with many in other ways.

Ditto all the above!  Don't always agree with you (but that's OK), and your use of abbreviations, (most times), leave me confused.  But your insight, and especially your "view" from the other side of the table on employment issues, have been invaluable!

This is 1 vote against you having "outlasted my welcome".  Please reconsider.

I cannot believe that you feel that way.  Your assistance has been invaluable to me.  Like others, I don't always agree, but I do bow to your knowledge and pass much of it on to my IT person.  Please reconsider, if you have the time to spend with us.😟

If you do right and act right, there will always be those that will disparage you.  I myself have had times when I was not the most popular kid on the block.  Once I went nearly 12 months without posting at all because some were indignant with my questions.

There is a benefit to continue - to help others and receive help yourself.  I don't know who or what has made you feel unwanted, but unless it is a substantial human element, there is no need to stop.

We have all benefited from your participation here, and will miss you. I do hope you will reconsider, perhaps after taking a break. After all, Walter Cronkite came back the next evening.

Lordy, I remember back in the stone age Medlin Accounting.  Back in the 286 cpu days !!  When it was a boost in cpu power to add a math coprocessor.  Yes in the old days there where two cpu sockets on motherboards.  One for cpu and one for mcp (math coprocessor).  I still build all our pc's.  But Medlin was one of a few accounting products available.  And remember the first HP LaserJet printers !!  You had to buy a font cartridge for them and they weighed a ton.  Let alone the price of them.  Anyway, Ive grown a thick skin to some remarks on forums.  Just the nature Dennis.  But you know that.  Stick around, open a beer and laugh at it. 🍻

Not wanting to change the thread, but back in 1992 my first laser printer was a Lexmark and we had to fool it into thinking that it was an HP.  Back on topic, Medlin was the first and only payroll program that I ever used.  I still have the floppies to prove it.  I no longer do payroll, but if I did, it would be Medlin all the way.

I use his payroll, and now the accounting and (hopefully) the A/R program as well.  I don't know why you left, I haven't been around much in the last 2 months.  But please come back!
