Just tried to create e-file. Worked fine. Did not transmit yet, though.

E-file server still down at 1:45 PM.

The pdf printing in the current Max program seems to be working just fine. You just have to specify the file you want it to print to. Bigdadder

The new look is great. Clean and easy to use. Sometimes we must not dwell on the present things around us but look to the opportunites ahead of us.

Eli-----Make sure you highlite the preparer(yourself) you want to appear on any return you open before going to preferences to choose that preparer to appear. Bigdadder

Glad they are being shipped. I called last week and a sales rep told me I could access it on line but each time I try I still get last year's book(2006). Has anyone had sucess online getting the 2007 edition? Bigdadder

I just got on the board and was viewing the topics and came across the holiday discussion----I love Christmas ---but today I realized I could walk again. Last Wed I had my hip replaced and Thurs(Thanksgiving) I felt like I made a great mistake and would not even be able to get out of bed. Today the PT had me walking around my house and even going up some stairs. So today is my major celebration--Jesus still performs miracles---Maybe someone could suggest a name for this holiday.

In 2005 we were encouraged to step up from our current program. I accepted the deal and went from 1040 Office to Max. Paid(looking at my ATX receipts right in front of me) $635 in 2005 for Max and then in 2006 for Max I paid $890. I don't have any idea why the prices paid are different except for the fact that I accepted their offer to jump up to Max.

Eli---I checked my records and the cost was $890 with the 10% discount. This year I Pd $1027.50 with the discount. So the increase is $137.50. We'll have to get a few more client to make up the difference. Have a good day. Bigdadder

Going back over the years (---1960---) there have always been good times and bad times. My experience has been that it pays to be an owner(stocks & real estate) and not a loaner(bonds, cd's, and money markets.) No one knows the future but history does give us a clue.

Had same experience but did not ask for the 20%. Just want a feeling of confidence in the product.

If anyone is considering dual monitors you should also sign-up for a free trail of UltraMon. It costs $39.95 to buy but really makes switching and customizing your monitors so much easier (better) and after using for a while you'll be glad you bought the program.

The key is weather or not the plan is an eligible plan for PA. If it is an eligible plan, then the code 2 makes it non-taxable for PA. If it is not an eligible plan your client should use the cost recovery system to determine taxable amount.
