  1. I don't see why not. The license you'll have to get will allow you to continue in your present occupation, not set you up in a new field. The cost of the side-trip to the Hoover Dam, and your gambling costs, will not be deductible. But you should _definitely_ see the dam; it's pretty astounding (and would never get past the environmental impact statements today).
  2. Have a GREAT trip!! We'll be waiting to hear all about it once you return.
  3. Sounds like mal ware. You can get (shareware, free online) Malwarebytes' anti-malware at malwarebytes.org and run it. That should catch what's going on. McAfee doesn't catch everything.
  4. Even if I'm "just" going to print to pdf, I want the forms I want, and not the default set. The forms I want include items ATX does NOT include in the default, and leaves out others ATX DOES include. So for every return, I am checking and unchecking stupid little boxes and it drives me nuts - especially when they all re-arrange themselves, as they are wont to do. I print _only_ to pdf for my records, but my clients want paper copies. Nor am I going to go over a return with them on my monitor; while I love most of my clients I wouldn't want them sitting on my lap at the computer!
  5. I agree! The Print Manager is the most time-consuming, aggravating bit of crap programming in an otherwise fabulous program. I lose MORE time checking and unchecking those stupid little boxes -- I want the same thing, time and again, but cannot make my own default print set. I've seriously considered switching to Drake -just- to get my own default print set. Catherine
  6. Wow; quite a story of adventure -- my sympathies that you have had to go through all this. I hope this is the END of your trials, and that from now on you can "just" recover, and enjoy the grandchildren! The clients will show up with their stuff at the most inconvenient time, and then badger you to see if you're done yet. It's good to have stuff in this world that you can count on. Catherine
  7. Hope you have a VERY :bday:
  8. gailtaxed, hope you have a VERY :bday:
  9. The local rabbits have gotten the neighbor's broccoli and one of my flowering plants. Have to check my veggies still. I'm thinking rabbit stew....
  10. Yes. It's an excellent short video representation of the concerns brought out in Mark Steyn's book "America Alone", published a few years ago.
