I have never been able to figure out how to produce a balance sheet, AR and AP reports or reconciling retained earnings in Quicken, mind sharing how to print out those reports? I am asking this question, because I have dealt with corporate clients that walk in with their quickens reports and I have to manually prepare financial statements to prepare the tax return. Thanks

I wonder if the agency has to disclose what portion is a donation and administration cost. Just like when you buy a ticket for a benefit dinner.

Are you referring to corporate tax returns or individuals? I've been doing corporate tax returns for a while now always have to adjust for a dollar or two for rounding.

I guess it's automatically enabled on ON for 2013, I didn't know this feature exisited but good to know for future returns. Thanks

In the 2013, I notice the program takes the liberty of rounding on the balance sheet. This happened twice to me already, not a biggie I like matching the financials to the tax return, I was off by $3 due to rounding and the program reduce the the balance sheet cash by $3, I am not complaining either I wished they had this feature before instead of putting a plug to balance.

So what's is everyone opinion when a corp does not reconcile their account?

Stamps went up from .46 to .49 cents.

I don't remember having that issue last year, I did post something about the client letter, but I think at first everyone was having that issue.

Never mind, I forgot to mark state returns under preference, update. I hate when that happens.

Ok, here is my issue, rolled over 2012 client, I get a forms are not available (rollover when available) for the state, but I go to add forms, damm forms are available now, why isn't the program automattically downloading them? MAS

What is your monthly plan and how many computers can you add?

In my case, I provide hands on support to a few of my clients that do their own books on Quickbooks, for example if they get stuck reconciling an account, they call me and I log into their computer or if I am out the office need to check a file on my computer.

What program do you use to connect remotely to your client computer? I've been using Logmein (free) for a while, but it's no longer going to free, so I wanted to see what else is out there. Thanks MAS

ATX for taxes Quickbooks for accounting and payroll including 941's Fund-EZ for not-for-profit accounting FAM for fixed asset tracking I also have access to Proseries and Drake for taxes.

The only problem I am seeing everyday, is if you double click the icon too fast then you get an error.

It will be impossible to import from 2012 to 2013, how about trying to rollover a return.

Does the find feature really work? Every time I want to search for a client, if I enter the last name or first name I get something else, anyone notice this?
