Probably not. Most of my freelancers 1099s add up to less than sales anyway. I trash all the 1099s my clients send me too.

Changes to Sch D Tax Worksheet released 5/15/19
Abby Normal replied to Abby Normal's topic in General Chat
ATX finally updated. -
1040X with corrected SE form and an adequate description in the explanation box should do it. Not sure what you want to stamp 'Do not file' on. Taxpayer's should check their SS earnings in about a year, because I doubt the 1040X will be updated over to SSA.

Max was so mad he couldn't type straight!

Nothing can be 100% relied on. My son sent me 3 texts on Father's day but I only received one of them.

Let us know if you find something like that. Thanks! A quick search found this: https://try.clicksend.com/us/email-to-sms/

Correct.

I have one LLC taxed as a C corp that's 100% owned by a foreign corporation. On the 8832 we entered "none" for ID number of owner. On the 1120 we leave the ID# blank on the Sch G and have never had a problem.

New ATX System Requirements don't mention Windows 7
Abby Normal replied to Abby Normal's topic in General Chat
He bought licenses on ebay. -
I don't remember which year they added the all caps preference, but it's under Open Return in Preferences. The zip code lookup is either there or it isn't. No preference available.

New ATX System Requirements don't mention Windows 7
Abby Normal replied to Abby Normal's topic in General Chat
I'll ask my IT guy. He's just built a couple win 8.1 computers for us. -
I doubt that means it won't run on 7, but... Here are the requirements. You can download 8.1 for free here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO

I think you set up a new one.

Windows 10 users exposed to this problem are unlikely to even know they have it because who actually uses pre-installed bloatware? As such, my advice would be to search your computer and uninstall it. https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2019/06/22/microsoft-windows-10-problem-warning-dell-diagnostics-security-upgrade-windows/amp/

MFA stands for multi-factor authentication. Are you trying to login the ATX website?
-
I doubt there's any video. You can check the user manual, but I doubt it would be in there either. If it's not a red error, I wouldn't worry about it.
-
I have no idea what you're trying to do. More info please.

Did not even know the Starter version existed. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3016799/you-receive-a-click-to-run-pop-up-message-that-an-update-is-available

May they rest in peace.

Darn. I like the new kiddie tax, though I hear that some kids tax went up. I'd prefer they just come up with a new kiddie tax table and keep the new simpler method of calculation, rather than go back to the tortured way used to be.
-
That's what I do, but if they're retired and have to make estimates, I honestly prefer they have zero withholdings from pensions to remove that variable from the equation when calculating next year's estimates.

Changes to Sch D Tax Worksheet released 5/15/19
Abby Normal replied to Abby Normal's topic in General Chat
It hasn't been updated. My guess is that it's a very low priority, especially after the malware fiasco. It also likely affects a very small percentage of taxpayers. -
I stress the actual percentage of total income (not taxable income like ATX does).
