  4. I would assume so, unless the letter stated a shorter time frame.
  5. So the full price was $20,000? And was that 35% for just the first year? Wow, that's quite a price!
  6. Letters of Medical Necessity A letter of medical necessity (LMN) or letter of justification (LOJ) is a detailed prescription that a therapist or physician writes to be submitted to the insurance provider. The letter should be client specific and not just a list of the medical benefits of standing. So, yes, that will do it if it meets those requirements.
  7. Wise choice.
  8. IF he kept a home in B while he was training in C, it would be deductible. If not, it's not.
  9. May the Wind at your back not be the result of the corned beef and cabbage you had for lunch.
  10. Add the Elections form to the return, check the box, I think its the third line?
  11. Yes, the first house was an 'investment' and he was not then 'in the business of flipping houses'. so you could properly put that on the D. But things changed when he decided to expand into flipping as a business. Has to go on the C, the houses are Inventory until sold, and it's going to be SE income.
  12. Lion is right, it's written that way so that even if the semester starts on Jan 20, and ends on May 3, it counts as 5 months.
  13. The first question to anyone new walking in now should be "Are you willing to have an extension filed?" If the answer is no, say goodbye pleasantly.
  14. Actually, your wording bothers me a bit. Charging extra in such a situation is not, IMHO, "profiting from" the situation. It is compensating you for your extra work involved in rushing their return through.
  15. Hey, maybe I found the problem with ATX?
  16. http://amac.us/applying-for-obama-health-care-plan-not-easy Applying for benefits under President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul could be as daunting as doing your taxes. The government’s draft application runs 15 pages for a three-person family. An outline of the online version has 21 steps, some with additional questions.

  18. 3115 is the correct form, as I am sure you know. But your 'creative' solution sure sounds tempting. I'm sure Jainen and a few others will tell us all the 'cons' of it, soon. The extension was a good idea. Let's see what other ideas our brain trust can come up with.
  19. Thing is, IRS is looking at just what they have on file, to come up with those 'refunds' estimates. But often the reason they did not file is that they know they have other income that, if they filed, would owe money.
  20. I had the same problem, and did not want to pay to block. So when I get a sales call or call for the previous user, I put it in my Contacts list under the name DNA [for do not answer] and I assigned it the Cricket ring, since my phone does not have a 'no ring' option. So if I hear the cricket chirp, I ignore those. My phone allows 7 or 8 numbers per person, so over time I've created several DNA contacts. Over time, most of them stop calling a number that never answers.
  21. Which provider is that, David?
