  1. That's the one I have from the ATX 2008 software; Form 656 Rev. 3/09. The 433-A is a January 08. I'll have to double check in the '09 package and see what the revision date of the 433-A there is. Thanks!
  2. I keep thinking that what I could -really- use to get my office neat is a flame thrower! Does anyone know if they make an office or household size model?
  3. I scooted a few things over until I had enough room for the monitor stand. Then they all got scooted back to their original positions. My first monitor moved over about two inches so I had to permanently reposition my cork teacup trivet two inches over as well. I also changed the angle of my first monitor so it doesn't hide the side of the second one.
  4. Hi folks and Merry Christmas to all! Quick question -- I have an OIC ready to submit. Should there be any issue using 2008 forms, or should I re-do it all on the 2009? I looked the new ones over quickly and the impression I got was that they're functionally identical. I don't want this tossed back at us for not u sing the right form revision -- but neither to I want to have to re-do everything, three days before Christmas, for no good reason. TIA, Catherine
  5. Congratulations! I went that route a couple years ago, with trepidation. Now I don't know how I managed so long without it!
  6. I have my older girl using Carbonite for her laptop at school -- this sounds like a great deal and I will get my younger girl's computer signed up today. Thanks so much for letting us know! Maybe (if I can figure out how) I'll put our home network drive with all our pictures and music on Carbonite as well.
  7. Well, here's hoping that it works well for all of us! I got a very good price from NewEgg and also went for their extended warranty. Got one of those for my multi-function machine and when something (details fuzzy) went wrong with it a couple years ago, they talked me through some trials, then said, "OK, we're sending you a new one - send this one back in the box the new one comes in; there will be a call tag enclosed." And I was very pleased with that service (and of course hope to never need it again). Catherine
  8. It comes with the scanner software itself, PaperPort, OmniPage, BizCard, and other stuff as well. I don't think there's anything else you need. There may be other stuff you can -use- (and one of the benefits of a TWAIN compliant machine is that it -will- work with other software if you have pre-existing favorites), but nothing else you -need- to make use of the little critter.
  9. Well, I decided to do it, and got myself a duplex scanner. Since the Fujitsu that folks have raved about is no longer made and I read mixed reviews of the quality of its' replacement, I ended up with a Kodak i1120. It's the first peripheral I have ever purchased to run on a Windows machine that worked perfectly, first time, right out of the box. The scan quality is good, too. We'll see how well the customization goes, and how it lasts under the "strain" of a tax office in season. I'll let folks know if there is anything momentous. What I cant' get over is how tiny it is! It's just a little wee box that fits on the corner of my desk, and weighs less than six pounds. It came with cords to plug into any outlet in England or Europe as well as the US/Canada, and quick set-up sheets in about a dozen different languages. I had fun figuring out which language was which. French, Spanish, Italian, Russian -- those were easy. Danish, Dutch, Polish, Finnish -- those were harder. And there are two Oriental languages I'm still not sure of. There are Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and one other. And I'm not sure which one is the Japanese and -what- the other one could be! Catherine

If you did something good and reasonably universal, please let me know -- I might want those changes for myself! I'm sure you pulled out the Massachusetts frou-frou.

I'm very glad that it's useful to you. I've tweaked it many times over the years, and pretty much settled on this form. Every year I check for new tidbits -- may have to add in car purchase sales tax and house purchase HUD-1 forms as well. Catherine

I Hope that either my list or the new one in ATX (which I haven't looked at yet) will be just what you need.
