joanmcq Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 You don't need 12.9 unless 12.8 is causing you to crash, etc. 12.8 has been fine for me, so I don't need 12.9. So far. gfizer Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 Installed 12.9 and it has fixed both of the problems 12.8 caused for me. Payer manager is now working correctly and the one 4562 return that crashed the software everytime I tried to open it opened and allowed me to create and submit the efile. After the slow initial open after the update the program seems much better. My completed returns are still marked complete! Randall Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 I saw a quirk in the print report. I sorted incomplete returns by created date. The correct dates showed up on screen, but when I printed the report, all returns listed the same date, the first date listed. Maybe 12.9 will correct that. I'll try. Janitor Bob Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 Unless required, I'm not sure I will update again until end of Feb when all of my "hurry, I want my refund yesterday" clients are done.....My 12.7 is functioning......lots of annoying issues with client letters, slowness, and random crashing.....but at least it is functional.
