  1. This is too cute! I think people have Pygmy Goats as pets, they must be like dogs. I once had a goat, sort of. My friend George who owns a Greek restaurant in the Berkshires said to me, Bill I bought you a goat. Yeah right, what am I going to do with a goat? He takes me to a farm that sells goat cheese among other things and I meet my goat that he paid $40 for 2 goats. He had beautiful eyes and distinctive coloring, I felt a connection and named him Billy Goat. George said the farmer would keep the goat for the season to mow the grass with the other goats and then we will have goat stew in the winter. What? So I went back to the farm and asked the farmer what it would cost to make the goat a permanent resident. Farmer wasn’t really receptive because he had too many goats. After I offered him $100 he agreed to keep the goat away from George. I would visit him every time I bought goat cheese. I finally found him another home with someone who had a horse. George did make goat stew with his goat, tasted like lamb. Maybe that’s the reason I became a vegetarian.

  2. It's all fun and games until you come out and find a dozen goats standing on your car.

  3. Baby goats are about the cutest critters to watch, I think. A friend raises them and posts videos from time to time; always entertaining. How do they jump so much? Thanks for the smiles today!

  4. Got a bulk email this morning in several languages saying my website has been hacked and they are going to release information from my databases if I don't pay up in bitcoin. It also said that if I pay up, I don't have to worry about any of my clients finding out because bitcoin is anonymous. My website has nothing on it except my name and contact info plus info about my business. There are no databases containing anything related to any clients. I hope the fraudsters distribute it far and wide. I need some new clients. Tom Longview, TX

  5. Don’t you know you’ve won the China Lottery and you’re a multi-millionaire? All you need to do is send them $495 and your bank account info. It’s all legit - they just need to validate who you are.

  7. Does client have an NOL CF for AMT? If so, and especially if a new client, is that entered properly in ATX?

  8. Had one today. He's over 59.5, worked for a private company, $$ in Boxes 1 and 11, so can exclude $20K which is more than enough this year. So glad this thread was here. You all saved me some time proofreading this return!

  9. I still use QB 2003 desktop on my Win10 computer. I have the install key so every time I change computers I can re-install without QB knowing about it. I turn off the internet when I install, turn off automatic updates within QB, and then turn the internet back on. Never checks for updates, never changes anything about how it works. I don't use it for payroll, just my own bookkeeping. No hiccups. Never an issue. Intuit can bite me, I am not paying for a new version every year that does nothing more for me. Tom Longview, TX
