We've had 2 in the last 3 days. Probably more to come as time goes by.

I only have it happen when I do a rollover. My fix is to have the 2013 regular program open. Then the retry's are complete in the 2013 program. Then I do my rollovers all at once without any retry's necessary in the 2014 program. Sometimes I just keep 2013 running all day. Rich

I ran into this problem in November and solved it with tech support help. Pretty easy to fix but tricky to explain. Wish I'd looked at the Forum sooner today.

My favorites are the Shedd Aquarium and Science and Industry Museum.

I had that problem but duplicating the return from the return manager and opening the duplicate has worked for me. Sometimes it just won't let me create an export without closing the program so I duplicate it and the copy works fine. Little Gremlins in there somewhere...

In preferences under Open Return, sort by EIN or name...

Same here with only one reject due to a dependent filing wrongly. Hate the server error but very happy in general. (Thanks Jack!!!) Love the fast acks. 238 returns so far in the program (most with states) and 64 waiting for me to get caught up.

I get bottles of single malt from family that I don't charge and have received huckleberry pies at times from others. Got 2 dozen cookies the other day...

Been using a database for years to track everything from in date to ack date, phone #'s, etc. Very easy to sort and print. It also can work as a handy way to track the days appointments. I use a printed copy of the active returns and use a red pen to note updates and changes. Makes it easy to know what to update in the database...

Have always used Brothers. HL 5240's in both offices now with toner and drums purchased off ebay. My old copiers wore out so I replaced them with Brother DCP7065's. I'm hoping they will also be nice printers to be put into service when my stockpile of drums and toner runs out for the 5240's...

Robert at Atx just told me the beta program will be using the 2012 forms with 2013 pasted on them. It will be the new 2013 program software...

I forgot to mention how unstable the program seems now even with frequent re-booting. It seems to wonder into "program not responding" and sometimes recovers and sometimes not...

My system is a standalone with Win 7. I did my update to 12.16 and everything seems like it's in slow motion. The backup feature (or backup slowdown) is the same or worse, there are printing slowdowns and a general software slowdown in every feature. I wish I could click the un-do button on this one. Even the "use check return 1st before printing fix" doesn't seem to be much if any help. Mixed feelings for the future. Hopefully when I beta test the 2013 version I'll need a seatbelt on my desk chair...

I have a return with 9 K-1's and I also couldn't find a summary with all the losses just the individual ones...

Lots of good prices on eBay on toner cartridges and drums. I buy them in large multiples. Some of the Brothers toner cartridges have a mini clear round window that you can cover with black tape. This will get some extra life as well as use all the toner in the cartridge. I usually have no problem with a refill giving the message because it's full. The drums are a different situation. On my 5240's with the door open, I hold the go button until all the lights are on and close the door. This does the reset for the drum. Might work on the toner...

Jack if you just want to look at it why not view the pdf copy. I keep icons on my desktop to the folders for the last few tax years pdf files. A quick double click and type the first few letters of the last name and I'm there. Very handy...

Something to keep in mind also is even the backup hard drives can wear out. I use a double system where the same info goes into 2 backups. I replace the drives every 2 years since they are not expensive. Getting quite a collection of them.

Agree with Joan, the Schedule E is so slow since they updated it on 3/18. I have 4 rental schedule to do when they fix it. Not going to try until they do

On the Schedule E input page on the lower right is a tab for other expense. Is this what your looking for?

Yup, just me. My wife helps with the phones and for drop off and pick ups. Actually, it's now 621 but remember that includes federal, state and extensions. 30-40 7004's are in the bunch. A number are multiple state returns. Up here North Dakota returns are becoming very popular as our economy is not real good. 92 efiles waiting for people and at least 100 plus waiting on me. The five 15 hour days and two 12 hour days has turned into all 15's...

I've had 4 Idaho individual returns this year with that same message. Most were early in the season. Never could get them to go through so we paper filed them. I've had 611 federal and state accepted efile returns as of this morning...
