  1. A couple of lines under where the TP day of birth, telephone, email etc... go, 1040 info worksheet
  2. I would say yes, if the disregarded entity maintained a balance sheet, but could you start with 2018 balances as zero and end 2019 with the correct amounts.
  3. Makes sense, just wanted to double check. Thank you
  4. If a TP gave the full RMD amount to an organization after they cashed the check, can the 1099R be corrected to reflect the donation?
  5. This goes back to we don't charge enough, we are at the same level or above as these payroll companies if they can charge that, so can we.
  6. What is their response?
  7. This particular TP gets paid monthly and operates the same season as a landscaper except they don't so snow removal. The payroll processing still charges a monthly fee, Yikes
  8. I don't charge enough Let's talk about payroll processing companies, 1 employee (and being a seasonal worker) = $1,300
  9. Let the client figure it out themselves unless they pay you to get to the bottom of it.

  11. Will this work on a 1040x? I need to amend one already this season.
  12. In the hypothetical example I mention earlier, if the employee received 30 shares at $100 a piece, but are worth $150 when they received them. Fast forward to today, these shares are now worth $170 and they sell them, would the 1099B reflect $100 cost basis or $150 and their CG gain is either $50 or $70?
  13. I went through the same thing when I went from Windows XP to Windows 7 using an HP printer, everything printed good, except ATX. HP support said the printer was not the problem, but the software, I ended getting a new HP printer that work great for many years until I destroyed it. In the 12 years I've been in business on my own, I have managed to destroy 5 printers.
  14. Trying to understand this, if an employee receives 30 shares @ $100 a piece worth $150, the employer would report an additional $3,000 as wages in the year received correct? However nothing has to be done until the employee sell them down the road? From reading other people comment, let's say the employee didn't receive a 1099B brokerage statement and they forget to tell us they sold their shares, would the sale appear on their W-2 in the year sold? Thanks
  15. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought ATX was fixed to show shareholder basis on K-1? Is there a check box I need to mark, anyone?
  16. I vaguely remember what happened in Waco, TX but for some reason the headline reminded me of it
  17. How old is the printer now?
  18. Just wondering, can you share the model number of your printer?
  19. If can always buy some deer balls afterwards, they are under a buck.
  20. There is always an oddball lol:
  21. Is there a quick way or shortcut in ATX to distinguish how much of the refund or balance belongs to the husband or wife?
