I just ran the NEVER 10 and when I did, I found over 1700 files for Win10. Last week I got the screen saying "Welcome to Windows 10", and I was able to decline it and return to Win 7.
THANKS, Normal.
While I have not posted much since joining in 2007, I look everyday, during tax season, for items of interest and found often viewpoints I haven't thought of.
Thanks to all the frequent posters for your thoughts.
I use the Social Security administration web site. It checks the SSN with the last name(first 4 letters)
It prints the W3, and W2s and tells you that you upload is successful.
I downloaded last week. Yesterday I tried to rollover a return. ATX could not find 2013 returns. A notification about this situation talked about a Avast Anitveris software that would not alow the rollover to occur. I do not have Avast. I have Mcafee. I emailed ATX Support and the return email said to call support. The second level person corrected the rollover error. Back up and running.
I thought in the year of death, the decedent could/would file an individual Form 1040 for the year ending Dec 31, 2013 and the Estate Form 1041 would then have a calendar year, Jan-Dec 2014. That's how I handle this type of case.
