I tell everyone that asks, "Single with Zero exemptions." if they are high earners, I say "Have an additional $100 per pay period as well." "We will revisit this at 2018 tax preparation time, and adjust accordingly." I would rather answer the question about why the refund is so be, than the opposite question. Same for all that inquire. I bought 2, of the Brother 5450dn machines when they were on sale about 5 years ago. $199 each. I get compatible toner carts for $7 each. The Brother brand carts give me 5,000 pages, and the compatible carts give me 5,000 pages each as well. My greatest expense for printing is the paper.

I have two, of that very machine, that are over 5 years old with 250,000 pages on each one. Maybe you need a course in proper printer care?

If you don't send it, there is nothing to remove. The delay gets longer and longer..... People play our sympathy, and I have sympathized enough. (as I pay my electric, gas, water, trash, mortgage, phone & cable bill)

Not renewing this month. When I do renew, I will get the same "early renewal" discount, even though it is later. I have several questions before I, and the firm I work part time for, renew.

I do not transmit, nor give any of my work to the client, until paid in full. I accept all types of payments. April 15, comes the same time each year. They can't do the grocery store, electric company, clothing stores or restaurants that way. No tickie, no laundry. PERIOD.

Does the venue have quality Wifi? I will be toting my laptop and we can facetime or Facebook video chat, or several other ways to let people be there that can't be in person. Think "Big Bang Theory". Maybe even possibly stream some of it live... It is just the life-long geek coming out in me....

My advice is still the same.

This does not sound like your problem to correct. DON'T get in the middle of this. Send her to the "professional" that did the return. RUN AWAY. There is more here than she is telling you. RUN FAST!!

The more often you submit, the more difficult the problem becomes. I just received 30 Ohio Acks from returns filed yesterday. No issues. I mark the e-file preference to hold the state until the Federal is accepted. Then it changes them from held to created. I then file the states. Not a single issue so far, and the state acks keep flowing in. Both from yesterday and today.

I e-filed 20, this morning, with no rejects. In fact, I have received no state acks since yesterday morning.

Blaming the software WILL NOT STAND during audit.

At least you thought you were! This will bring the the ultra-procrastinators crawling out of the woodwork... Earlier this afternoon, NAEA alerted members to technical difficulties with IRS' electronic filing and online payment systems. NAEA confirmed with IRS earlier this evening that these systems are fixed and are operational again. According to the Service: Individuals and businesses with a filing or payment due date of April 17 will now have until midnight on Wednesday, April 18. Taxpayers do not need to do anything to receive this extra time. More details are available in IRS' news release, IR-2018-100. Should new information become available, NAEA will update the full membership.
