grandmabee
Where does everyone get their copy paper? i used to do Costco and it was 32.00 10 ream case. I like the 96 bright white 20 lb. Most places are now selling 8 reams to a case and think we don't notice.
ILLMAS
Sams club for me, I’ll count the reams next time.
Lee B
I got 2 bxs of Office Depot 94 bright 8 reams per case for $26 per case recently. I guess I am getting feeble and decrepit, my back really likes the 8 ream cases due to the lighter weight
Catherine
I get the Boise X-9 "Splox box" 20-lb, 92-brightness, which is a half-case of paper in ONE box with NO separate reams. I can pick up a half-case without help, and not having to rip the paper wrappings of reams is nice, too. None of my printers will take a full ream, so that inner wrapping is a detriment rather than a benefit.
jklcpa
Got a 10-ream case of Hammermill Plus from Staples last week for $36 delivered to my door.
Lee B
Office Depot currently has 8 ream cases of 94 bright paper for $ 24.
Lion EA
I've had good luck with Staples delivered, but the last three cases I got were pre-pandemic. Haven't seen any under $30 anyplace.
Randall
I use Quill (owned by Staples now). Delivered, 10 reams a case, 92 bright, last case $29, March 10. It's their 'Quill' brand and I pay an annual fee to be in their 'club'. I'm not sure if that's a bargain or not. Supposedly special prices. Ha.
schirallicpa
I was very fortunate to buy 20 boxes on a damaged pallet this past summer from a client that was purchasing pallets for resale. Most of the boxes are slightly damaged. The paper was fine. Worked out to be 20 bucks a box. Can't beat that!
TexTaxToo
Office Depot sometimes has sales. I've also found 10-ream cases of "Pen&Gear", 92 bright, at Walmart for under $30. Quality seems okay, but who knows how long it will hold up.
Yardley CPA
I've gone paperless with 75% of my clients. I upload everything to the portal and have them sign electronically. I then provide them with a completed copy of the approved eFiled return for their records. I hope to increase this number overtime but there will always be some clients who prefer paper copies.
Margaret CPA in OH
I, too, have gone mostly paperless a few years ago. When clients bring or mail documents, I scan and return but have been fortunate that perhaps 60% have been able to navigate the portal and upload at least everything they have in pdf. And I upload the client copies of the returns and encourage them to print or save. But, with several folks of a certain age in years or technology education or equipment, I do still have some number that want that printed copy. Just so glad to have a lot less nowadays!
Abby Normal
20 boxes of paper would last me about 10 years. 3

Lion EA
Just saw a Staples ad for Hammermill 10 reams $29.99
BulldogTom
If you go to Staples the back of the receipt normally has a $10 off coupon on your next in store visit. Go get 1 case of paper, get the receipt, put the paper in your car, come back into the store and buy another case for $10 less. I won't say how I know this, but I know this works.... Lion EA
I used to hit Staple's back-to-school sales for my tax folders at $0.05 each. We'd go after Sunday brunch when both kids were with us, each grab the maximum (25ish) in my color of the year, and check-out in four different lines. I'd add some fatter vinyl folders in my stack, and be set for the next tax season. I think hubby got a teachers' discount by showing his union card, also.
